PUD Staff Receive Regional Safety Award

Though 2020 was a challenging year on multiple fronts, Jefferson County PUD continued to uphold and exceed safety and accountability metrics.

In April, Jefferson PUD received an award for employee safety from the Northwest Public Power Association. Safety contest awards are given for the lowest possible injury/illness cases and lost workdays recorded in 2020. Jefferson County PUD came in second place for its category of 100,000- 150,000 cumulative hours of exposure.

Jefferson PUD and Clark Public Utilities were the only Western Washington-based public utilities to receive awards.
