Construction Groundbreaking Ceremony

On Monday November 25th the PUD will host a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction on the remodel and expansion of the PUD’s Customer Service and Operations Center. PUD Commisioners and General Manager Kevin Streett will be on hand to speak and perform the ceremonial dig. The construction project will add 4500 square feet of office space to the existing 1970s building, including a new public meeting room and customer service counter and lobby. The remodel of the unchanged 1970s era operations center will allow the PUD to house all employees on one campus. The project is budgeted at $4.25M, with an expected to be completed in late 2020. Hoch Construction of Port Angeles was selected as lead contractor.
