Main line fiber, like the 288-count shown here, is the backbone of the JPUD fiber network. This cutting-edge fiber transports data at the speed of light, and we are excited to bring some of the fastest internet speeds to our rural neighbors.

PUD Fiber Technicians continue work conducting in-home installations in the south county region, with more than 150 homes connected and fiber “drops” run to more than 1,100 homes! Contract teams are working on splicing large fiber similar to what you see in the video, and once splicing is set, PUD techs can enter the area and begin connecting services.

Have you registered for PUD fiber? Now is your chance! Registering for fiber takes just a few minutes, and signing up places you on the construction list. Learn more here!
