Water Quality and Safety
Jefferson County manages 9 Group A water systems across East Jefferson County. As part of its compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act, Jefferson County PUD produces annual reports on the previous year’s water quality testing results. These reports are known as Consumer Confidence Reports (CCRs). CCRs for each Group A water system are linked below. Paper copies of reports can be obtained upon request by phone, in-person at the PUD offices, or via this link.
Water quality sampling results can also be found at the Washington State Department of Health’s “Sentry Internet” website. Search by water system name and click the “Samples” tab to find links to water sample testing results. For more information or previous year’s copies, email bgraham@jeffpud.org or call customer service at (360)385-5800.
In 2007, the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) established a Water Use Efficiency Program to ensure efficient operation and management of water systems. With it came new requirements which require municipal water supplies to set conservation goals and report annually on their performance to customers and the DOH. Jefferson County PUD’s Board of Commissioners held a Special Meeting on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 to set the PUD’s 2020-2025 Water Use Efficiency goals. These goals provide benchmarks for achievement and play a significant role in helping the utility and its customers conserve our limited water resources. Approved Water Use Efficiency Goals.
