Planned Electrical Outage for Discovery Bay and Eaglemount Areas

There will be a scheduled electric outage in the areas of Discovery Bay and Eaglemount on Thursday, September 29, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

PUD customers north of the Discovery Bay sub-station, including customers in the Gardiner area, will experience intermittent outages throughout the day. Customers south of the sub-station, including everything between Hwy 20, Old Eaglemount and Fairmount Road can expect a continuous outage until mid-afternoon on Thursday.

It is anticipated that all customers will have power restored by 3:30 p.m.

The planned outage is necessary to upgrade equipment at the substation. The upgrades will assist the PUD in more quickly restoring power to the area in the event of future outages.

Customers who have not had power restored by 3:30 p.m. on Thursday should call the PUD at 385-5800.
