Verifying ENERGY STAR® Certification
ENERGY STAR® Appliance Rebates require ENERGY STAR® certification demonstrated by listing(s) on the official ENERGY STAR® web site https://www.energystar.gov. The PUD suggests the following ENERGY STAR® verification methods to help you ensure that your appliance(s) is/are eligible for a PUD incentive.
Please note:
1) New models may take a few months to appear on the official ENERGY STAR® appliance list on https://www.energystar.gov. Please wait until your appliance is listed before submitting your rebate materials. Rebate requests for not yet listed appliances will not be processed.
2) Asterisks * on ENERGY STAR® lists are “wild cards” often representing model variations such as colors, features, etc. If your model number matches up until the asterisks, the model is ENERGY STAR® certified.
Certification Verification: Using the Internet
Visit the PUD’s Rebate web page at: https://www.jeffpud.org/rebates
At the bottom of the page, select the search engine link for the appliance category you’re seeking. If the database produces your model number, its ENERGY STAR® certified. Print the page with the model information and submit it with this rebate application.
