FINAL Jefferson County Rate Study - This
2007 study was conducted to determine an appropriate
rate structure to insure the long term fiscal stability
of the PUD and continuity of its water systems and operations.
The study was used as the basis for the PUD's 2008 rate change
(Updated 1/5/2010).

Preliminary Feasibility Study
Public Utility District No. 1 of Jefferson County Electric System
Acquisition - D. Hittle & Associates study, final version
released in 2008.
Electric Service Evaluation
for East Jefferson County - D. Hittle & Associates
performed this study in 2000 to evaluate the existing electrical
service in East Jefferson County. The evaluation was needed
prior to any decisions involving the PUD entering the public
power business.
Projected Economic Impacts
of Adding Electrical Distribution Services to PUD#1 of
Jefferson County This follow-up study was performed in
2005 by Seattle University professor Paul Sommers. He looked
at the impacts on both the PUD and the local community if the
PUD provided public power minus capital facilities costs from a
new or existing distribution system.

DRAFT Groundwater Storage in the Chimacum Creek Basin
- STEP 1 - A preliminary report determining the feasibility
of injecting or infiltrating winter surface water flows so that the
water will be available for use or to maintain stream flows (or both)
during periods of high usage. Report was prepared by Golder Associates,
April 2008.
Drilling and Hydrogeologic Characterization
of a Deep Monitoring Well in the Chimacum Valley -
This 2007 project funded largely by the Department of Ecology
intended to penetrate the full thickness of glacial sediments
in the Chimacum Valley for a future model and help determine if
those formations were suitable for future study for storage or
as future water supplies.
Reverse Osmosis (Desalinization)
Feasibility Study - Contract was awarded to CH2MHill
in 2006 to determine the feasibility of a desalinization plant
in East Jefferson County. Several sites were chosen as candidates
for future action. Study was completed in February
2007.
Hydrogeologic Evaluation of Four
Corners Well #1 - The PUD drilled a well in fall 2004
and had Pacific Groundwater Group perform a pump test on the well at
Four Corners.
